Accessibility

We assess tools partly on their accessibility, so this site is held to the same standard. We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA. We do not meet it on every page yet, and the known gaps are listed below.

Last review: 26-10-2026. We read the code of every public page against WCAG 2.2 AA. Nothing we found stops the site working for most visitors. Eleven problems shut out particular groups of people on particular pages. On 27-10-2026 we put 31 fixes live. They cover ten of those eleven problems: the menu at high zoom, keyboard focus hidden under the header, form fields with no label, errors not read aloud, and a label too faint to read. The eleventh was this statement, which this version replaces.

Known issues still to fix

  • Two pictures, the "three ways" picture and the how-we-rate diagram, hold steps that are not repeated in the page text, so screen-reader users miss them.
  • Some forms do not say in words which fields are required, and the password rules are not shown before you type.
  • Some delete buttons act straight away, without asking you to confirm.
  • When you copy an invitation link, nothing tells you it has been copied.
  • The "page not found" screen has no page title of its own.

What has not been tested

  • The 26-10-2026 review read the code. It did not include a person using the site with a keyboard, a screen reader or zoom. The last walk-through of that kind was on 13-08-2026, and one is due.
  • The In depth boards, Safety and Evidence Provided, were checked in the code only.

We list issues here as we find them and remove them as they are fixed.
